1.你朋友的characters

应该也是一道曾经考过的题目(2006/6/24) (2006/5/12)，只不过当时的题目是Important characteristics in friends.

I have a friend named Jack and I think he is kind of interesting. First, he is a very easy going man. I think anyone can make friend with him.

You know, we got to know each other 1 year ago and amazingly we started a friendly conversation very easily, so easily that made people believed that we had known each other for like 10 years. Second, he has got the most wonderful sense of humor. Anyone chatting with him will be really happy. He has some techniques like telling some funny stories, some funny body language or even some facial expressions. Finally, he is kind of extraverted man.you will know his mood by his face. No matter whether he is happy or upset, you will tell it through his expressions. Just like last week, he failed the final exam, and he was so sad that he didn’t even play basketball, which is his favorite sport.

Well, to me, a good friend should bear the following good characteristics.

2.学习时候是否要安静的地方

Definitely I need to study in a quiet place. I hold this opinion for the following reasons. first , I simply can’t focus my energies in a noisy place. Just like last week, a construction work was going on besides the teaching building. With all that noise, I found that I could never concentrate on my work. Then I went back to my dorm and that is a really good place to study since it is very quiet. Second, sometimes I will read English aloud when I am studying and I really want to hear my voice so that I will whether I got the right pronunciation or not. But in noisy I can’t hear it pretty well and I see it as a big problem. Finally, I think I am sort of quiet person. The noise simply will drive me nuts.

3.literature major大四学生需要一批reserach thesis， 并指定一个advisor(designate an advisor)

对话：M同意这个policy，she is for this policy.

R1. 平时的thesis都比较短小，不能学到东西， 现在可以有机会可以搞一个比较大的research (usually, thesis are sort of short and we can’t learn much from these short thesis . now it is good news that we have an opportunity to have some large-scale research program)

R2.有advisor在，在做thesis的时候可以和他讨论，能出质量比较好的thesis (with the presence of advisors, students can discuss research matters with them. This will bring about some really excellent papers)

注意第三题的模板：

4.bidirection comunication between parents and childrens：介绍了定义(according to the reading passage, the bidirection communication refers to …….一两句话就可以了)
lecture里面，讲了个例子， 2个parents， 1个6m child named Max （in the lecture, the professor gives us an example about 2 parents and a child named Max）

MAx 笑， 爱别抱， 喜欢communicate， 导致parent对他也爱笑， 爱抱，  而parents的feedback也跟刺激Max喜欢交流， 喜欢feed back from the parents (Max loves smiling and hugging his parents.consequently, his parents love to do the same thing. And this interaction brings about something that is even more interesting. Thatis to say, his parents’ feedback makes Max more willing to communicate.)

注意第四题的模板：
