Book 8B Unit 1 Will people have robot?  (Go for it!)
Objectives:
  By the end of the session, most students will be better able to acquire the required information and understand the target reading material. This will be achieved by:
a)      Teaching students to apply the following basic reading strategies: scanning, skimming, predict the general idea according to title and topic sentence, and he key facts of the target reading material.
b)      Asking students to have some extension activities: multiple choices and true or false exercise.
Learning and teaching focus:
1.      Reading the title and scanning the text to predict the theme of the target text.
2.      Skimming for topic sentences of each paragraph to predict the general information of the paragraphs to have a general understanding of the text.
3.      Tracking the key facts through skimming for the key words, such as numbers, times, names of person/place, etc to help them have a better understanding of the target text.
