Unit 1 Will people have robots?

Ⅰ. 一般将来时: 表示将来发生的动作或存在的状态。
【常用时间状语有: in +时间段 , next time/ year…, tomorrow morning …, soon , later (on), 等.】
1．用进行时态（be +v-ing）表示将来：主要意义是表示按计划、安排即将发生的动作，常用瞬间动词。如：go, come, leave, arrive等，也可用于其他动作动词。
e.g. I’m leaving for Beijing tomorrow . How long are you staying there ?
2．用be going to do表示计划或打算在将来进行某事。E.g. Are you going to post that letter?
How long is he going to stay here? I am going to book a ticket.
3. 用will/ shall + v. 表示将来： You will feel better after taking this medicine.
① 表示将要发生的动作或情况, eg. I shall be eighteen years old next year.
② 表示某种必然的趋势 eg. Fish will die without water.
☆ 注1：在以第一人称为主语的问句中,常用 shall 表示提议和询问情况。
eg. Where shall we have the meeting?
