(第一课时) 黄石十六中外语组 王国华 一.教材分析: 1. 教材内容及其地位:时间的重要性不言而喻,生活中我们经常在谈论某人何时做了某事,在计划自己何时要做某事,可见表达时间与我们的生活密切相关。在学生学过了一些数词和日常行为动作术语的基础上,教材在本单元的开篇安排了关于谈论日常作息时间安排的对话来让学生学习认知时间,表达时间,适时而合理。学好此课又是为学习本单元乃至今后更多的有关时间的对话和短文打基础,因而学好它至关重要。 2.教学目标: A. 语言目标:(a).数词1-60 和频度副词usually; (b).日常行为动作名称短语: get up ,run,eat breakfast, take a shower, go to school; (c).句型:What time is it ? It's 7 o'clock. What time do you usually get up? I usually get up at 6:30. B. 能力目标: 使学生能用英语表达时间和谈论日常作息时间安排. C. 德育目标: 使学生懂得时间的价值,教育他们珍惜时间,很好地利用时间,形成良好的作息习惯。 3. 教学重点 : 核心句型What time do you get up ? I usually get up at 6: 30的运用. 4.教学难点:第三人称单数谓语动词在此核心句型中的运用----第三人称单数谓语动词的运用是本单元语法的中心内容(见课本Activity 2 后的Grammar Focus),是全单元的教学难点,需各课时来共同分担,逐渐地突破,因而也是本节课之教学难点。 5.教学用具:电脑, 投影仪 二. 教学方法:运用的教学方法主要有二:(1).五步教学法:任何知识都要循序渐进地获得,由浅入深---本节课中心环节(Step 3 和 Step 4 )是教会学生谈论某人何时作某事.Step 1 是为能谈做某事做准备,Step 2 是为会说何时做铺垫。 (2).交际法:学外语的主要目的不是在掌握语言结构本身,而是在发展学生的交际能力,让他们在创设的交际情景中学会知识,以便能再运用于现实交际活动中。 三.教学步骤: 如果可能的话,上课铃响之前,我会让学生边听Anderson的名曲《钟表店》边欣赏一些有关时间的格言,如:One cannot put back the clock. Time and tide wait for no man等(见课件首封). Step 1. Revision (5分钟) 在大屏幕上投出一些日常生活动作图片,引导学生用英语说出这个动作名称,教师将其列写在黑板上,并边板书边带领学生重复说这些短语,主要有:get up ; do morning exercises; eat breakfast; go to school ; go to work; eat lunch ; get home; make dinner; eat dinner; watch TV; do homework ; go to bed. 并完成课本Activity la ( 图画与动作名配对),并对答案(见 课件). Step 2.Revision and learning.(10分钟) 1.让全体学生齐声按顺序说出数词1--60,根据他们完全不能,部分能 或全能的实际情况来进行教学,补充, 正音或肯定.然后重新让全体学生齐声按顺序说出全部这些数词,以确信他们全部掌握。 2.游戏活动:挑战数字机(见课件)----全班分成四个组,每次一个小组出场挑战。小组成员们按顺序依次说出屏幕上数字机显示的数字,中途出错或跟不上,即告挑战失败.最后教师让全班同学为获胜的小组鼓掌而结束游戏.若没有一个组挑战成功,教师要鼓虑学生课后多练,并争取下节课给他们成功的机会. Step 3.Presentation(15分钟) 1. 大屏幕打出一组显示不同时间的时钟(见课件).教师可这样引入: What're these? (They're clocks.) What time is it (by this clock )? It's 1 o'clock. 这样在句型:What time is it ? It's .....的运用中学习时间的数字表达法的读法. 2.屏幕上显示Mr Wang's Timetable(见课件). 告诉学生: This is my timetable. I usually get up at six (o'clock). I usually do morning exercises at 6:15.... 说完时间表中的所有项。让句型特别是其中的usually 和at 给学生留下较深的印像。在谈论时间的同时,我会指着时间表中的数字,让学生去领悟时间的写法和读法.并解释am和pm的意义.然后问学生:What time do I usually get up / do morning exercises / eat breakfast/...? 引导学生回答:You usually get up at six o'clock. /You usually do morning exercises at 6: 15.... 3. 课本Activity lb (课件): 放录音前告诉学生:Rick is a student. Listen to recording and tell what time he usually gets up , what time he usually runs ,what time he usually eats breakfast , what time he usually takes a shower and what time he usually goes to school.放录音两遍(如果必要三遍),然后核对答案时利用目标句型What time does Rcik/he usually get up ? He usually gets up at six .... 接着我在黑板上并列写出: I get up . We get up. You get up . He gets up . She gets up. It gets up . They get up .并将其中的所有主语和谓语动词划线, 让学生们仔细观察这几个句子,看能否从中发现什么规律,对学生的结论加以补充完善,向他们陈述正确的语法规则。然后再补充一些口头选择练习,如: They eat breakfast or They eats breakfast? Tom go to school or Tom goes to school? Tom and Jim go to school or Tom and Jim goes to school? 等. Step 4.Practice Activities ( 15 分钟) 1.Pairwork ( 课本Activity 1c):先向学生解释题目要求,只给学生约3分钟活动时间。 2.小组调查:让学生每人拿出纸和笔,照原样画下屏幕上的样表,然后去对部分小组成员作调查.记下调查结果,要求在 调查活动中必须使用句型: What time do you usually get up ? I usually get up at 6 o'clock. 老师将学生的调查表收起来,选择某些学生的某些活动时间输入屏幕上的Flash 时钟里(见课件),并向学生提问:What time does Zhang San usually get up ? What time does Li Si usually goes to school ? 引导学生回答:He/She usually gets up at ... 建议晚睡的同学形成早睡早起的好习惯,送给他们一句格言:Early to bed ,early to rise, makes a man healthy ,wealthy and wise. Step 5.Setting homework:Make up your own timetable and get ready to talk about it at the beginning of the next period. 向学生提供样表(见课件).
